The Challenge

SanDisk wanted to streamline its social media output to create a consistent look and feel, realise cost efficiencies and best practice, whilst still ensuring countries had the freedom to jump on local market opportunities and cultural events.

Applying Buyologic®

We developed a Global > Local model, whereby we provide Hero, Hub and Hygiene content to the countries on a monthly basis. The countries maintained total jurisdiction and could choose to adapt and localise central content, whilst maintaining budget to create specific local content as and when required. We created a shared calendar featuring static and video content that focused on key events and retail moments throughout the year. The content included targeting recommendations by post. Our bi-weekly Social Media calls to coordinate the pan-EMEA programme provided a preview of upcoming content and allowed the countries to share best practice.
